The Mirror of Wishes by Louis
The palaeontologist looked into the mirror And saw a fossil waiting to be discovered
The astronomer looked into the mirror And saw a new group of stars in the blackness
The fisherman looked into the mirror And saw the rarest fish in the depths of the ocean
The judge looked into the mirror And saw no cases in his court today
The scientist looked into the mirror And saw the success of his new discovery
The gardener looked into the mirror And saw his glorious garden blooming
Santa looked into the mirror And saw belief in all the children’s faces
The scientist looked into the mirror And saw the success of his new discovery
Santa looked into the mirror And saw belief in all the children’s faces
I love the positive atmosphere from these two images Louis. You do seem to avoid including punctuation in your poems! As each of these is a separate image wouldn’t a full stop be needed at the end or maybe semi-colons to construct a super long extended list?
This is the first post I’ve read this morning. A perfect cheery piece to start the day. Thank you, Louis.
