The sapphire bird. By Tiana
Night falls pitch black, over the horizon where emerald grass sways in the blissful breeze. Moonlight lit up the darkness and turned it to an essence of glowing light. Flowing rippled water, collides with the soft tawny sand.
Walking to the waters edge sea foam splattered my legs completely. Hearing a bang, I thought. “what was that!” I must be playing tricks on myself. Hearing it again. Another gun shot. Looking up, grey flustery smoke dragged its self down to the ground. CRASH! Fire spilled through the entire plane. A sapphire bird lay cold, still. It just wouldn’t take off.
Tiana, I enjoyed your story and I especially liked the details.
